As discussões historiográficas em torno do Infante Santo

Abstract

This article is a historiographic balance of the studies about the Infante Santo. It was divided in five main subjects searched by historians. In the beginning, there is the study of his public cult and his politic action. Afterwards, there are the debates about the Tânger expedition, the different ways of his representation, the production of his holy memory and, at last, there are the debates about the new problems in the Infante Santo’s studies.
