La historiografía de tema medieval hispano: una reflexión sobre el oficio y la producción del medievalista en los años 1982 a 2007

Abstract

A critical reflexion about the historiographical production towards the middle ages in the last 25 years. It analyses factors, stimuli and results and destinies of the scientific production. The actual situation suggests that the quality of the research tends to decrease, and on the opposite, the quantity tends to grow, mainly under divulging forms. The article proposes causes and consequences of the actual situation. It also proposes a global reflection about what historiography should the medievalists produce, how and to whom.
